Summer Youth Program: No Cost Summer Interns for Employers

Businesses can help young adults gain hands-on work experience and explore careers by establishing a 5-week internship, paid by CareerSource Central Florida. The Summer Youth Program is an opportunity for employers to understand the next generation of workers, influence the future workforce of Central Florida, build up a talent pipeline, and even identify future employees.

2024 Summer Youth Program Sizzle Reel

Over 1,400 students ages 14-19 participated in our Summer Youth Program to explore, engage, and experience careers. We partnered with educational partners, including Valencia College, Osceola Technical College, Lake Technical College, and Seminole State College, along with more than 230 local businesses, to provide high school students with career exploration, specialized career training, and work experience.
