CareerSource Central Florida Welcomes New Director of Public Policy and Alliances



Orlando, Fla., February 24, 2020 —
CareerSource Central Florida (CSCF) has named a new Director of Public Policy and Alliances, Clifford Marvin who is a senior leader and strategist with more than 15 years of multi-industry success driving high-impact partnership strategies and community engagement. In this new role, Marvin will be responsible for leading CSCF’s multi-stakeholders network across five counties to positively impact the community on workforce development issues and help shape the local legislative public policy and revenue strategies.

Marvin brings in a wealth of knowledge in securing revenue for organizations and partners through a consultative advocacy approach to identify new opportunities and open communication for partnerships. Prior joining CSCF, he served for over a decade with Walt Disney World where he utilized his leadership and business development acumen to create revenue growth through effective sales and marketing strategies.

Marvin also helped lead and champion partnership efforts for audience and community participation at the Dr. Phillips Center for the Permorming Arts in Downtown Orlando where he grew revenue streams of $13.9M. He also served as director of business development for CMAC and as national sales manager for Mohegan Sun.

Marvin holds a Master of Arts in Theater Directing with Honors from Villanova University and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Central Connecticut State University.

Marvin is currently working on the 4R Foundation Capital Campaign Committee and is an advocate of The Lifeboat Project. He also served as a board member of the Downtown Orlando Partnership. He lives with his wife and two children in Winter Garden.
