For Career Seekers – If the COVID 19 Corona virus crisis have impacted your job through business closures, you might be eligible for partial unemployment benefits. You can file a claim to determine if you would be eligible, visit and explore Floridajobs.org. You may also call 1-800-204-2418 for support in filing unemployment.
For Employers or Faith Community based organizations – If the COVID 19 Corona virus crisis has impacted your businesses, the Department of Economic Opportunity (DEO) offers a Short Time Compensation (STC) Program. This program is a voluntary employer program designed to help employers maintain their staff by reducing the weekly working hours during temporary slowdowns instead of temporarily laying off employees.
