Orlando, Fla., February 13, 2020 — CareerSource Central Florida (CSCF) has launched a newly redesigned website,, in a move aimed at leveraging value and better-servicing its increasing customer base of career seekers and businesses.

CSCF connects career seekers and businesses in Lake, Orange, Osceola, Seminole and Sumter counties by training people for better jobs, placing qualified, high-demand talent for select industries and sharing workforce intelligence to drive smarter business decisions.

Career Seekers

The organization helps Central Florida career seekers achieve successful careers and prepares them to meet the hiring needs of businesses through training programs funded by state and federal grants as well as community resources. Offerings include skill training, resume assistance, career coaching and planning, workshops and actual career placement. Over 46,000 career seekers were served in fiscal year 2018-2019, of which 8,750 gained employment, 2,138 youth were served and 3,154 were engaged in training.


Area businesses can utilize CSCF to find the right talent, training and upskilling of the existing workforce or gain insights on labor market intelligence. Providing customized hiring and training services, CSCF Business Service consultants collaborate to develop and support strategies that meet unique hiring and talent development needs by developing and funding employee and on-the-job training, internships programs through state and federal grants, and community partners. There were 3,643 businesses that were served last fiscal year.
