Gabriel Aponte joined CSCF’s Youth program for support in gaining employment. During his time in the youth program, the CSCF team helped Gabriel enroll in Second Harvest’s Culinary Training Program – due to his passion for cooking – to help pursue a sustainable career in the food industry.
Engaged and motivated, Gabriel excelled in the training curriculum and recently graduated from the program with valuable “hands-on” experience and skills needed for an entry-level position in any foodservice establishment. With his newly-acquired knowledge and enhanced skills, Gabriel secured a culinary position at the Grand Bohemian Downtown Orlando. CSCF is proud of his hard work and dedication, and excited to share the news of his success in and out of the classroom.

Jesus is a career seeker who successfully completed an internship program with CSCF in 2012. Because he has a criminal background, and it proved too much of a barrier to his employment search in Central Florida at that time.
